Used Suzuki Dzire Differential

A genuine used example, located for your chassis rather than pulled from stock. Identification is by the number stamped on the unit, and we tell you what is included before you commit.

How we source a differential for the Dzire

Differentials for the Suzuki Dzire are identified by ratio and by the flange types they carry. Two casings that look the same can be 3.07 and 3.73, and the wrong one changes gearing, speedometer reading and cruising revs.

Suzuki models are sold under several names in different markets — Jimny, Vitara and Swift included. We match on the part number so a nameplate difference does not become a wrong delivery.

We do not hold stock and quote from a shelf — units are located after you send the VIN, which is why the price you get is for your vehicle rather than for an average one. If nothing suitable is available at the time, we say so instead of quoting a unit that will not fit.

What we check before we quote

  • Final drive ratio read from the tag or crown wheel and stated, not inferred from the model.
  • Open or limited-slip confirmed — an LSD core in an open casing is a different purchase.
  • Backlash and bearing noise assessed; a whining unit is sold as a whining unit.
  • Flange types, cover and seals, and whether the housing is complete.

Questions buyers ask about this part

How do I find my final drive ratio?

There is usually a tag on the casing or a stamping on the crown wheel, and the VIN build sheet carries it. A workshop can also count turns of the propshaft against one wheel revolution. Send us the tag photo and we will read it.

Will the wrong ratio affect my speedometer?

Yes — and the ABS and gearbox shift points on some cars. Matching the ratio is not optional, which is why we ask for it before quoting rather than after.

Is it open or limited-slip?

Confirmed per unit and stated. If you are upgrading to an LSD, tell us, because it changes the flanges and sometimes the driveshaft lengths.
