Do I need to code a replacement mirror?
Sometimes. Memory and power-fold functions are usually held in a door module rather than in the mirror, but on some models the mirror carries its own electronics and needs introducing. We say which when the part number is known.
Can I buy just the glass?
Often yes, and it is much cheaper. It will not help if the motor or the fold mechanism has failed, so tell us what the mirror is actually doing wrong before ordering glass.
Left or right — how do you define it?
As you sit in the car. That matters on right-hand-drive vehicles, so we ask whether the car is LHD or RHD before quoting to avoid a mirror that fits but points the wrong way.
