How we source a headlight for the Elise
Original Lotus Elise headlamp units from donor vehicles, supplied with ballast or LED module where the unit needs one, and photographed from every angle before packing.
British models were built in small volumes with many trim variations, which makes the VIN the only reliable identification.

Questions buyers ask about this part
Are left and right headlights the same?
No. They are mirror-image parts with different part numbers and beam patterns. We quote them separately and will not substitute one for the other.
Will a xenon unit fit a car that had halogen?
Not without the ballast, loom and coding, and in many markets it is not road-legal. We identify what your car was built with and quote the same type.
Are the mounting tabs intact?
That is the first thing we check and the first thing we photograph. A broken tab is declared, not hidden.
